Filacon by Tajima presents new TFP machine Spec2.0 at JEC World 2024

For the first time ever, the innovative CB1 overhead feeder and the new wire feeding device will be shown to the public. Both systems are pioneering in the field of TFP machines and mean a 25% higher production rate. Tajima offers with the new Spec2.0 model the fastest TFP-machine in the industry. Comfortable changeover of carbon fibre bobbins, precise and soft frame movement and all settings made in the design software EDOpath 2.0 come along with the new machine.

Several new design-samples also in natural-fibre design will be shown on the booth as well as a semi TFP monocoque part that was developed together with Toyota (Japan). The prototype demonstrates the potential for weight reduction in large 3D structures with complex topology using large fibre tow (50K) placed on 5 km of design paths with only 4% fibre waste.
